Reports to: Data Science Manager

Job Summary:

The data scientist will use data to drive decision making in our pricing, marketing, and acquisition efforts. The data scientist will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on a growing company. The data scientist will work within a collaborative team, assisting with exploratory data analysis, data cleaning and validation, model development and deployment. We’re looking for a high integrity, motivated individual who wants to contribute to a great company.

Qualifications:

• Experience analyzing data and doing exploratory data analysis on real world business problems.
• Experience writing and deploying production level python code, interfacing with software engineers.
• Experience deploying machine learning models in financial and real estate applications.
• Experience with pandas, numpy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, lifelines, matplotlib, seaborn packages in python.
• Proficient with SQL – writing queries to collecting relevant data.
• Experience using GIT version control and putting code into production.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university or college in a related discipline (statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science)
• 2-4 years of work experience as a data scientist.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk. This position may be required to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $115,000 plus bonus (depending on amount of experience)

FLSA Status: Exempt
