Purpose: 

We are seeking a Transaction Coordinator to assist in the handle the day-to-day processes related to the onboarding and closing process for transactions. The ideal candidate for the role of Transaction Coordinator should possess good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, broad knowledge of business functions, and project management experience. The Transaction Coordinator will support the day-to-day acquisition operations, onboarding processes and procedures for new locations, ensure efficient execution of processes, manage communication with our internal team, mitigate risk and deficiencies. 

Reports To: Transaction Manager 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordination of closings and onboarding process

  • 50% Onboarding (Ops / IT / Accounting / Finance)
    • Ensure a smooth transition for onboarding new stores into the accounting and
    • Request and collect DD reports from seller to pass along to the ops team
    • Assist in the onboarding of new stores to our property management systems
    • Gatekeeper of all information necessary to bring a store online
    • Assist with the onboarding of new stores we acquire coordinating all appropriate vendors, services and platform initiation and integration. 
  • 50% Acquisitions Team
    • Assist the transaction manager
    • Coordinate with legal department
    • Initial survey review
    • Compilation of the closing binder
    • Create deal records in our internal database and validate accuracy of data
    • Manage escrows, track due diligence, schedule inspections, etc.
    • Maintain our PRO captive pipeline

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk.  This position may be required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field.
  • 1-3 years in relevant experience

Travel: Limited travel determined by needs of business

Compensation Range: $50,000-$60,000 annually

FLSA Status: Exempt

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Works in an indoor office.
  • Use of office equipment and computers.
  • Occasional lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
  • Positions in this class typically include extended sedentary positions, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, movement and repetitive motions.
