National Storage Affiliates Trust (“NSA” or the “Company”) (NYSE: NSA) is a real estate investment trust headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado, dedicated to the ownership, operation, and acquisition of self storage facilities in the top 100 metropolitan statistical areas throughout the United States. Through ongoing property contributions from its Participating Regional Operators ("PROs"), third party acquisitions and joint venture partnerships, NSA currently holds ownership interests in and operates approximately 850 self storage properties located in 36 states and Puerto Rico with approximately 53 million rentable square feet. NSA is one of the largest owners of self-storage facilities among public and private companies in the U.S.

NSA leverages the benefits of national scale by integrating multiple experienced regional self storage operators with local operational focus and expertise in addition to its 900+ team members who provide corporate support and manage operations of over half of our portfolio.


The Investor Relations Coordinator will work with the Investor Relations team to provide effective and timely support to the company’s investors and management team.

Reports To: Director, Investor Relations

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with transfer agent to maintain investor database.
  • Coordinate the management, tracking and processing of investor redemption and assignment requests.
  • Assist with website content development and management.
  • Assist with planning of industry and analyst conferences as well as in-house meetings.
  • Produce and ship presentations for conferences and 1:1 meetings.
  • Produce analyst profile reports for scheduled meetings.
  • Track detailed meeting information in the IR database.
  • Coordinate composite tax compliance requirements and track investor responses.
  • Maintain investor filing system and related documentation.
  • Maintain analyst research documentation.
  • Assist executive officers with various department-related needs for travel, expenses, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk. This position may be required to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, in business, finance, communications or other general business field.
  • Advanced user of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong computer skills

Travel: Limited travel determined by needs of business.

Compensation Range: $45,000 -$51,000

FLSA Status: Exempt

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Works in an indoor office.
  • Use of office equipment and computers.
  • Occasional lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
  • Positions in this class typically include extended sedentary positions, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, movement and repetitive motions.
